Jaguar SS1 Tourer, believed to be 1 of 7 produced.
Possibly one of the most rarest iconic cars in the world.
A vehicle with significant provenance, with accolades to match. This example should command the main trophy section of some of the finest car collections in the world.
Awards consist of the following:-
2000 Invited to Goodwood Cartier et Luxe Best 50 cars in world display at the Festival of Speed.
2001 Sir William Lyons Centenary Rally from Blackpool to Coventry Car won top award (Spirit of Event)
2003 July European Concours d’ Elegance at Scholoss Schwetzingen Grermany - won Second place.
2006 June JDC Hurlingham Club Concours d’ Elegance, Won the Chairmans award.
2010 June Klassikwelt Bodensee. Car was featured at this annual event.
2015 August car was invited to attend the 65 years of Pebble Beach, this they say was to be best 200 cars in World event Car won second in its Class.
2016 July Concours of Elegance at Windsor Castle Car won (Coach Build Era Cars) for best Restoration.
2021 September car was invited to join the 60 cars in ‘THE WORLDS RAREST CARS DISPLAY’ at Hampton Court Palace Concours d’Elegance.
Jaguar SS cars are having a bit of a revival this year, winning prestigious awards whilst achieving in excess of £400, 000 in high profile auctions so far this year.
