This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at Supercar Fest 2026 on Saturday the 16th of May, Sywell Aerodrome, Sywell, Northampton, NN6 0BN.Introduced in 1986, the Jaguar XJ40 generation marked a new chapter for the long-running XJ saloon line, offering updated styling, improved engineering and the refinement expected of the marque’s flagship luxury modelThis 1988 example is finished in Regency Red with a Biscuit interior and has remained stored and unused for many years, presenting today as a genuine barn findThe XJ6 3. 6-Litre was powered by Jaguar’s 3. 6-litre inline six-cylinder AJ6 engine driving the rear wheels through an automatic transmission, offering smooth performance suited to long distance touringHaving been off the road since 2001 the Jaguar has been well stored and presents in remarkably sound condition. The body appears solid, with little corrosion noted, and the interior in excellent original order.
