From what I can ascertain through reading the history file, the car appears to have been purchased as a project back in 2009. In 2010 work to the value of £3, 500 was done to the car by XJ restorations, followed by invoices for parts, for over £2, 000. The car I believe was painted some were around 2015. The car has seen very little use having only covered 434 miles since 2008 and in the last 4 years has only covered 59 miles . Invoices from November 2023 to present are for over £1, 400 in parts alone. Sensible upgrades such as 123 electronic ignition and manual choke have been fitted.
