We are really pleased to offer for sale this outstanding 1988 XJS V12 Convertible.Finished in the stunning and rare Alpine Green Metallic with Doe Skin hide as confirmed by its JDHT certificate.With just 2 former keepers from newFirst owner 1988-1990Second owner 1990-1991The long term owner purchased this beautiful XJS in 1991 and has cherished the car ever since, only sold due to his passing.The car is accompanied by a huge history file, itemising expenditure on parts and servicing throughout its life right back to day one. Far too much to list but some notable items below.Vectra shadow immobiliser fitted in 1997Some notable items around 2002 (124k miles) full rebuild of rear suspension, full rebuild of front suspension, replacement steering rack, new discs and pads all-round. Calipers stripped and new seals, radiator and hoses all replaced, all cavities and suspension wax-oil treated, Central exhaust silencers removed to offer a little more for the spirited driver.Subject to a new hood in 2002 and electrically operating perfectly.Complete bare metal re-paint in 2010 by Old School Engineering famously known for restoring and painting all of Alfaholics cars, along with corrosion issues dealt with at the same time, all fully invoiced.Still presenting immaculately throughout with only minor marks.
