1978 5.3 XJS PRE HE FOR LIGHT RESTORATION THIS CAR WILL BE M.O.T AND TAX EXEMPT NEXT YEAR ANY CAR OVER 40 YEARS WILL BE TAX and MOT EXEMPT AFTER THE FIRST OF JANUARY 2018 the car was completely professionally restored 10 years ago at a cost of over £20,000 including bare metal re spray in nightfire red it had a Jaguar factory reconditioned engine off a crashed xjs that had done just over 20,000 miles it had new genuine jaguar full floors fitted full body kit lister twin headlights twin stainless steel exhaust cream recardo leather seats the leather is good but some of the stitches has come undone the car was dry stored for 8 years but has being outside for the past 2/3 years it has surface rust in places with some paint lifting but is solid all over the engine is free but hasn't being started for 5/6 years the stone chip on the floors has started to come away in places and will need treating but they are solid the brakes will need overhauling but were completely rebuilt before it was parked up the car is good underneath but will need treating and wax oiling but does need a bit of bodywork and a re spray also the engine will need full servicing THESE EARLY V12 5.3 PRE HE ARE GETING RARE AND FETCHING BIG MONEY WHEN RESTORED offers Around £2,000 invited.
