1956' Jaguar XK 140

We are offering this 1956 Jaguar XK140 Coupe/Conv for a local client that has purchased another classic. This car requires some explanation as to what it is now. Car started life as a Jaguar XK140 Coupe The prior owner performed a full body off restoration and converted the car to convertible with a removable hard top using the original hard top of the car. Based on Engine numbers and specs the car has a Series 1 XJ6 Carbureted engine with a Series 1 XJ6 Borg Warner automatic transmission. The dash electrical and gauges are all Triumph TR6. All of this culminates to provide a very unique twist on the Jaguar XK140 with Coupe or convertible options with an automatic transmission. The runs very well and runs cool in traffic. Cosmetically the car presents very well both outside and inside the cockpit with nice chrome and acceptable paint based on the age of restoration.
