The star of the London Motor Show 1948 was the Jaguar XK 120, which immediately caused enthusiasm. Thus, a great success story for Jaguar started, since there were also plenty of victories with the XK 120 C-Type (C for Competition). In 1954 the successor XK 140, which had been technically fundamentally revised and was to remain in the model program until 1956-around 2,800 copies were created as a drophead coupés (DHC). We present an XK 140 DHC from the currently almost 30-year ownership of an classic car collector.
