Seller's comments about 1957' Jaguar Xk150

The Jaguar XK150 was introduced in May 1957 in Fixed Head Coupe and Drophead Coupe form, replacing the XK140 lineup. This is the Roadster version, which came out in March 1958. All the cars used the XK140 chassis, but this time the bodywork had a much more modern look and for the first time it featured a curved one-piece windscreen.

Inside the vehicle, the walnut veneer on the dashboard and door covers has been replaced with a quilted leather trim. Mechanically, one of the main changes on the XK150 was the Dunlop disc brakes, both front and rear, as opposed to the drums mounted on the XK140. The engine, on the other hand, was the same block as the 140 and, in this version, it produced 250 horsepower, which allowed it to reach the mark from 0 to 100km/h in just 7.6 seconds.

This unit is in excellent condition and has an Automatic Gearbox.
