1953' Jowett Javelin

This is a 1953 deluxe model. The car has been stored for several years and has recently been put back into running condition. It has just had a new headlining fitted, together with new carpets. The bodywork has had work to refit the rear near side wing and repairs to the body around the rear window.
The engine is now starting well and showing satisfactory oil pressure at tickover. From the identification plates on the engine, this would appear to have been reconditioned by the factory some years ago. However, the body would benefit from a respray.
The car is being sold in an ‘as is’ condition, probably as an on-going restoration project.
