Seller's comments about 1953' Land Rover 80" Series One
1953 80” Series one project (solid investment)
Advanced Land Rover 80” 1953 series one vehicle project.
The investment value of a series one Land rover is validity and integrity of the vehicle, this project will withstand scrutiny.
Value of finished project would be c£35k as a genuine vehicle
At this stage the buyer can add new paint to the panels or adopt the ‘lived-in’ look!
Some points:
i) I think the parts should be about 90~95% present but we will help in any way we can.
ii) Price £20, 000GBP non negotiable
This project has good solid integrity starting from the core components:
• Full V5 documentation
• Reg No BSV 735
• Chassis No 36100239 totally professionally rebuilt and of great structural integrity. New outriggers/ dumb-irons/ cross-member (no doubler plates/ rust/ filler/ bodge)
• Fully professionally rebuilt and running 2L Siamese engine the details below (engine No on V5 doc)
• Gearbox No the details below, unrestored but running free & sweet.
• Tub & tailgate present and in good condition
• Wings & bonnet present and in good condition
• Doors present and in good condition
• Axles with
• Seat box present
• Oval dash panel present, instruments need checking.
• Jesus bar present
• Bulkhead will be totally rebuilt and in pristine condition
• Steering wheel/ box present and in good condition
• Radiator panel in good condition
• Radiator needs checking or re-coring
