Seller's comments about 1955' Land Rover Series 1
My Series One 1955 86" Land Rover is for sale.
Chassis number 57101098, engine number 57191690, built between August 54 – July 55, one of 600 vehicles under a Ministry Of Defence contract number 6/VEH/16223. It’s original military registration number was 41BP62 and it was struck off the MOD register in Gloucester on 6th September 1963.
Since then it has been restored on it's original un welded chassis with a galvanised bulkhead.
Showing what is thought to be the original mileage of 42000 miles it is a lovely vehicle ideal for family adventures.
A detailed full history file comes with the vehicle which is fully serviced and wanting for nothing.
Fitted with a rare overdrive, a clayton heater, rear bench seats and free wheeling hubs.
If you wish to purchase a full length hard top, in mint condition, the same colour as the wheels. One is available by separate negotiation.
