1964' Land Rover Series 1

This classic Land Rover has been totally rebuillt.
Everything that can be replaced,
has been, starting with
it's brand new galvanised chassis & bulkhead, giving good cause to the long list of further refurbishement below.

At least £3000 spent on new parts, the list below is by no means exhaustive.

4. New fuel tank (best quality)
5. New Braking system, pipes,cylinders, shoes,servo
6. New starter motor
7. New lift pump
8. Very low mileage 2.25 original diesel engine.
9. New clutch, thrust bearing & pressure plate
10. New high powered Bosch battery
11. New steering relay box
12. New tyres


Consequently she has a long long
life expectancy, total freedom from rot, future welding, or poor existing welding. Not to mention maximum strength & ridgidy required by serious jobs of work in the field.

Spare front & back axles , front with free wheeling hubs plus some new extra spares.

Not resprayed for originality (but could be on request to buyer's specification).

Starts in arctic conditions. high cranking speed.

Classed as a historic vehicle with freeroad tax & mot exempt.


She has covered less than 100 miles since her rebuild, & Very few so thoroughly well re-furbished as this one.
This is a tremendously reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, without over complex systems forcing you into unwanted garage bills - whilst you are without the 4 wheel drive you rely on. An excellent addition to your arsenal against the forces of nature in true Land Rover spirit.
