Seller's comments about 1966' Land Rover Series 2A
ChasingCarsUk are proud to offer this great British icon. Built in 1966 this Land Rover Series 2A Ragtop in Mid Grey with a sand canvas is a recent John Brown 4X4 restored vehicle. Tax exempt and rebuilt onto a galvanised chassis with galvanised cappings, free wheeling hubs, parabolic springs and 750 tyres among a lot of other wonderful features. The rear has been fitted with a load mat and bench seats to bring the seating up to six occupants including the driver. With the benefit of a resprayed finish, new tyres, canvas and power steering it really does look and feel the part.
This is a 1966 farm yard killer design to with stand anything that could be thrown at it, but the rebuild was professional and considered, and overall to a great standard. As is always the way this vehicle is being offered for sale due to age and lack of dexterity.
