1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible For SaleVIN 4Y86N419760 -- Summer Driven -- Winter Stored -- Mostly OriginalI purchased this car out of the Jay Wiglesworth collection in 1986. I maintained and used it as a summer driver. The body with its unique suicide doors is original, but repainted in its original champagne color with a clear coat added in the mid 1980s. The interior is original and in good condition, though creased over time. The white top was replaced in 1995. The power top, power windows (including rare power vent windows), power seats, power door locks, power antenna, and original radio all work well. Regularly maintained, over the years I replaced the alternator, power steering pump, manifold gaskets, exhaust system, center steering link, steering box seals, transmission seals, and the brake system including new lines, shoes, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders. The air condition was converted to R134a and works, but needs a recharge. A switched electric fuel pump was added to aid in starting after winter storage. New Corker wide whitewall radial tires were installed in 2017. The car drives like a dream.Located in Pittsburg, Kansas, approximately 2 hours south of Kansas City. Available for test drives.
