The greatest possible comfort for passengers was the top priority in the production of the Lincoln Continental Mark III, which rolled off the assembly line from 1968 to 1971. The automobile manufacturer Ford equipped this luxury vehicle and luxury coupé (23,088 of this model were produced) with excellent standard equipment.
This included electric windows and seat adjustment as standard, and there was also power support for the steering and brakes. An above-average amount of insulation material was also used for sound and heat insulation. The seats were covered with leather... and a 7.5l (460cid) 365 hp engine with an automatic 3-speed gearbox ensured harmonious "cruising" and of course with a remarkable and always popular V8 sound. The Continental is painted in an original Dark Blue Metallic, just as the so-called trim tag defines the color "Dark Blue" for the leather interior. Originally imported from the USA/Holland, the car was individually approved in Austria at the end of 2019 / beginning of 2020, the underbody was sandblasted and sealed by a specialist workshop, and the exhaust manifold was also replaced.
