Seller's comments about 1971' Lincoln Continental
I have for sale one of the most interesting Lincoln models: Lincoln Continental Mark III, 1971, Mark series, with a Ford Big Block V8 engine, 7.6L, 365 horsepower, with a three-speed automatic transmission. A car with an interesting history and full documentation from previous owners. The mileage is only 84,000 miles, which it is documented on the basis of registration certificates. I have had the car for 15 years. I put a lot of work and resources into making it efficient and safe while driving. The vehicle was repainted with the same color 14 years ago, although some imperfections have emerged over the years. However, this does not take away from the charm and impression of this car. Mechanically, the car is functional in every respect. Many important parts have been replaced with new ones plus minor additions and many spare parts for the future. What has been done in recent years and is also intended for the next years of operation: exhausts, shock absorbers, springs, wheel bearings, brake pads, front discs, braking elements rear drums, handbrake cable, new brake lines, fuel lines with float and tank cleaning, speedometer cable, radiator hoses, new power steering pump, steering gear pump after professional regeneration, all suspension rubbers and wishbones, engine after full service including with disassembly and assembly, as well as the gearbox, a new electronic carburetor worth $1,500 giving greater power and fuel economy as it is equipped with a fuel circulation cycle to the tank, a new air conditioning pump with all accessories, new seals in the doors and trunk and windows. Leather in good condition, replaced with new ones: carpet, bulbs and headlights, radio in the glove compartment and speakers, battery. I have photos of the renovation works. It is only worth investing in new tires of the appropriate size. This is a car for someone who loves and is passionate about become American motoring. Personally, it is with a heavy heart that I am putting this classic up for sale. I don't live in Poland at the moment, and it would be a pity to have it sitting uselessly in the garage.
