The Maserati Kyalami was introduced in 1976 as the successor to the Indy and was the first model under the management of Alejandro De Tomaso. Based on the De Tomaso Longchamp, the Kyalami not only received an independent, elegantly revised body from Frua, but above all the heart of a real Maserati: the 4.2-liter V8, hand-crafted interiors and classic GT characteristics. Only 186 Kyalami 4200 vehicles were built - a real piece of Italian automotive history, which is now considered an underrated insider tip, especially among connoisseurs. This example was first registered in Switzerland on April 1, 1979 and has been in second hand since 2015. In recent years, the vehicle has been extensively and professionally reworked. The body was repainted in the original color "Rosso Rubino" and the underbody was completely ice blasted and preserved. The interior has been reupholstered in the original "Senape" color combination and updated with authenticity in mind. The wiring harness was not simply repaired, but completely rebuilt true to the original - a detail that underlines the quality and ambition of this revision. Technically, the Kyalami has been comprehensively overhauled: the engine, chassis, braking system and electrical system are in correspondingly good condition. As an optional extra, this vehicle has rare, glossy black trim strips that further emphasize the classic, elegant design.
