Description:
At the 1966 Paris Salon, Maserati presented the Mexico as a four-seater luxury class GT. The Mexico was based on a Bertone prototype from 1965. The production version, however, received a body by Vignale based on a design by Michelotti.
The Mexico was initially powered by a 4.7-liter V8 that produced 290 hp with four Weber carburettors. From 1969, the 4.2-liter V8 from the Maserati Quattroporte with 260 hp was offered as an alternative.
This very original Maserati Mexico was delivered to its first owner in Brescia, Italy in 1967. In the mid-80s the vehicle was based in the USA. The vehicle has a first-class body base and has been technically revised and regularly serviced by the brand specialist Steinke in Hamburg.
A Maserati Classiche certificate and a copy of the original order form are available!
A truly elegant car and just the thing for the enthusiast to share the joy of Italian vehicles with the whole family.
