Seller's comments about 1953' Mercedes-Benz 170 S-V

This is an extremely rare Right Hand Drive Mercedes-Benz 170 S-V. In superb completely original condition and owned by the same family since purchase. It was ordered at the Earl's Court Motor Show in 1953, the actual Show Car and registered new on 5th January 1954. The purchase price was £1100. This is possibly the only right hand drive 170 on the road. The 170 S-V used the slightly smaller body of the 170 V with the 1767cc petrol engine. Only 3002 S-V models were produced and nearly all of these were left hand drive. Please study all of the pictures which show how original and unrestored this beautiful car is presented. It does show some minor signs of age but certainly nothing to be concerned about. The mileage shows just 59000 in 62 years! It has only been driven by the previous owner, his father and grandfather.
