With only 530 examples manufactured between 1951 and 1952, the Mercedes-Benz 170 Da "Open Touring Car Police", or OTP for short, is one of the absolute top rarities of the Mercedes-Benz brand. However, since the former workhorse is not exactly one of the dream classics that is lovingly cared for and looked after, most examples of the Mercedes-Benz 170 Da OTP from the W136 VI D series have unfortunately not stood the test of time.
The copy presented here comes from an estate and has had Austrian papers or historical typing since 2004. The very good and beautifully preserved original condition of the vehicle was described in detail in a condition and value report at the end of 2020. In addition, there is an extensive folder for the vehicle with invoices and other documents from the past, as well as a very helpful operating manual from Mercedes-Benz as a reprint.

I would like to warmly invite you to view the vehicles on site. The vehicles are located in A-2460 Bruck an der Leitha and is halfway between Vienna and Bratislava, each about 25 km away. By car, our location is directly via the A4 motorway, exit Bruck/L. West can be reached very quickly. Arriving by plane is very easy via the international airport Vienna-Schwechat (Vienna Airport), only 20 km away, or via Bratislava Airport, 35 km away. We would also be happy to pick you up personally from one of the two airports.
