Seller's comments about 1981' Mercedes-Benz 200 W123 200T

Here for sale is my 1981 Mercedes W123 200T finished in rare walnut brown also referred to as Moorbraun (479) with the contrasting Henna red series two herringbone interior. An absolutely beautiful example which has been cherished and loved its whole life! It has a special feature in the April 2017 edition Mercedes Enthusiasts magazine!

Ownership and History
The car was in long term ownership from new by the same family based in Nottingham prior to my purchase in 2015. This particular example has covered just 79,874 miles and has recently undergone thorough recommissioning work. The correct brand new 195/70/14 tyres are fitted to the steel wheels wearing stainless steel colour coded wheel embellishers. Recent suspension and brake work and a fresh MOT including a full engine service including plugs oil and filters, antifreeze renewal, rear differential oil renewed along with the LHM Fluid replenished for the self-levelling suspension system. The exhaust and clutch have also been replaced recently.

Mechanical
The car starts on the button and the legendary carburettor M102 engine performs very well with no issues. The 4 speed manual gearbox is also in superb order again with no problems at all.

Bodywork, Interior and Equipment
The paint and bright work is beautiful and really sets the car off. The interior overall is very good with half zebrano dash wood finish and superb henna red upholstery and still has the Blaupunkt radio cassette fitted. The car was optioned without a sunroof an unusual one for these models and has four manual window lifters all fully functioning. Fitted are the rare and sought after sixth and seventh rear facing seat option which can be folded away when not in use to leave a huge load area unrivalled by most modern contemporaries.

Summary
The Estate models of the W123 series are now getting harder to find in any condition, so a good one is even harder. A fantastic investment and a beautiful, practical, everyday classic.
I have built up a very attractive collection of Mercedes classic cars which will all be available for sale over the coming months. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
