Seller's comments about 1964' Mercedes-Benz 230

From the possession of a client and partner I may offer a Mercedes-Benz 230 SL "Pagode". The car has been in his possession since 2022 and was at the time arranged through me to him.In connection with the then-import to Austria, an appraisal was prepared, confirming a market value of €130, 000 for the car. For the individual permit in Austria, as usual, further investments were required.Some information from the original vehicle owner:The vehicle was imported from the USA to Europe in 2004. Between 2004-2006, based on new MB original parts, a 100% restoration of the vehicle including all components was carried out. The complete list contains about 1000 parts (all invoices available).The chrome elements were replaced including the smallest rubber parts.The headlights were converted to European models and the chrome lighting elements improved.Bodywork:All corroded elements were replaced. An existing photographic documentation shows the full range of bodywork and paintwork that were carried out.Engine, transmission, drive:A full overhaul of the engine was performed. All pistons were replaced, the cylinder head was machined and the full range of seals was changed. The transmission and drives of the vehicle were subjected to the required procedures.Electrical installation:The wiring loom was replaced with a new one. Nevertheless the original terminals were retained. The original ignition device (which was available) was replaced by an electric device.Interior fittings:The original artificial leather upholstery was replaced with genuine leather. The wooden dashboard was replaced with a new one and all other elements were renewed. The vehicle is equipped with seat belts and an immobiliser.In addition to the mounted aluminium wheels, the original steel wheels in body colour are also available and painted.
