1964' Mercedes-Benz 230

A gorgeous, rust-free pagoda enjoyed and improved by me since I bought it on 6/8/2013. Subject to overhaul and upgrades by marque specialist, Roger Edwards of Amersham in 2013(receipt for £9253) - Bilstein dampers, 280SL fuel tank(18gallon, replacing original 13 gallon) and electronic ignition, have made this a fabulous car for historic rallies in France(exhaust sounds beautiful with roof down!).Original black MB Tex seats, beautiful white steering wheel. Freshly veneered wood details, bespoke hand made carpets and a full engine restoration by R Browning of Browning’s classic car restorations of Keysoe (£7437 since January)-have brought this already extremely solid car to a superb standard. Agreed insurance valuation (19/8/2018) is £60000. The car has accrued significantly in value during my ownership as do all well preserved and maintained Mercedes Pagodas.
