1964' Mercedes-Benz 230

64 230SL home market right hand drive manual gearbox.
Horizon Blue with dark blue leather and third seat.
Hardtop is in rust free condition but bright works need replacement.
Extensive history, invoices for 50, 000 pounds over the last 27 year’s including work by Rodger Edwards, health check by the SL shop in 2021.
In 2015 the car had a major body restoration to include new floor pans , sills etc, however in the intervening years there are some small bubbles appearing on the rear wheel arches, the paintwork is generally very good, bright works are very good as are wheels tyres hubcaps and beauty rings.
The interior is in excellent condition though has a modern sat nav radio fitted.
The hood is fairly new and in great condition.
The car drives well but would benefit from a new exhaust system.
The engine had a cylinder leakage test last month and showed the engine internally to be in very good order with a 9% by pass.
The rear axel has been re built, the gearbox clutch are without issue.
To sum up a fine car needing some works to make perfect, priced accordingly.
