Mercedes-Benz SL W113 also called Pagode is a two-seat roadster that was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963 and produced from 1963 to 1971
The pagoda was produced in 3 model variants respectively 230 SL, 250 SL and 280 SL
Of the total of 48. 912 W 113 SLs produced, 19, 440 were sold in the US
All models were equipped with a six-cylinder in-line engine with fuel injection
The bonnet, tailgate and doors were made of aluminum to reduce weight
The relatively short and wide chassis combined with an excellent suspension and powerful brakes gave the W 113 excellent driving characteristics for its time
Mercedes 230 SLs were typically configured as a "Coupe/ Roadster" with a soft-top and a removable hardtop
This is a really nice and well maintained 230 SL with automatic transmission from 1966
Imported to Denmark in 2015
Original hardtop included
