Seller's comments about 1968' Mercedes-Benz 250S W108
With a heavy heart, I will sell the barely started project W108 250s from 1968. Unfortunately, first the mortgage, then the child - there is neither money nor time to move the matter forward. I imported the car from the USA, it has an expert opinion (I can send it by e-mail, exempt from excise duty, 95% original), unregistered. Carburetors restored by a specialist from Serock, installed, the engine turns, the battery is new, new coolant, the mechanic, who never has an appointment, says it's just the spark plugs and everything will be OK - I don't know anything about mechanics, so I won't say more here ( a potential buyer can verify this in person). Bought white wall Radar Dimax Classic tires, not mounted (waiting in the trunk). No other work or assembling of parts has not been started (I know it's a random order of activities). It stands in this condition in a garage in Gdańsk, waiting for someone who will take a closer look at it. You can drive up and see for yourself how much work it requires (maybe for someone it will be a plus that nothing was messed with the bodywork), I I won't be much help on the phone. I prefer contact via instant messaging or text messages, but I can't always talk.
