Capots Vintage, specialist in sports and classic cars in Lyon, offers for sale a Mercedes-Benz 280 SE W111 :Des airs d’américaine chez une flèche d’argent : we present this magnificent Mercedes-Benz W111 Coupe from 1968. Rare version and all the more so in this condition; our model in its metallic champagne finish was fully restored in 2006 by Étoile Collections in Paris, which undertook the following work: complete repaint, refurbishment of the upholstery, cylinder head prepared for unleaded use, replacement of the exhaust, new shock absorbers, radiator and hoses installed among other things.Since 2006, this Mercedes 280 SE Coupé has been meticulously maintained, mainly by Étoile Collections, as evidenced by the €24, 000 file of invoices. In 2014, the bumpers, the white steering wheel, the upholstery and the wood trim were refurbished. The file also allows us to state that the car has passed through the hands of six owners since 1984.Today, our car is a true marvel, both in bodywork and interior as well as mechanically.
