Seller's comments about 1968' Mercedes-Benz 280
Welcome to Oldie Point! We are always looking for classic cars and youngstimers! We look forward to your offer! In March 1963, Mercedes-Benz presented the SL series W113 as a 230 SL at the Geneva Motor Show. This was introduced as the successor to the 190 SL and came from the feather of the famous designer Paul Bracq. In 1967 the 250 SL followed and in 1968 the 280 SL with 170 hp from 2.8 l displacement. Because of his additionally available hard top, he got the nickname "pagoda". The copy presented here in a suitable red sheet metal dress and with a noble interior was approved for the first time on August 29, 1968 in Vienna. After several changes of ownership, but so far always in Vienna, this roadster was awarded the original shine a few years ago. Finally approved in collector's hand and always optimally caught and maintained, this 280 SL is still technically and optically in a perfect condition. The entire vehicle history can be sophisticated on the basis of the original type of type, the vehicle has already been included in the Austrian veteran register of the ÖMVV and it has two rather current valuations.
