A car with this engine is a very rare specimen, even on the developed German market - total production is approximately 25,000 units.
The car is complete and in beautiful original condition. Used quite often during the season, of course for pleasure.
Some of the work carried out on an ongoing basis to maintain its condition:
- replacement of all engine seals due to sweating, piston rings as a preventive measure during engine disassembly
- head inspection with valve adjustment and sealing, head planning
- all new brake discs, pads, brake pipes and hoses, regeneration of brake calipers
- carburetor regeneration, including replacement of seals
- all oil, fluids, etc. services carried out on time, including the gearbox with a new filter
The undoubted advantage of the car is its original condition, never renovated/rebuilt and never assembled from a jumble of parts from different versions. This car can be a model for rebuilding other cars because it has most of the original parts. Of course, there have been paint repairs in its history and now you can also consider minor paint repairs in the rear part near the trunk lid. The car has been in Poland since 2008 and with me since 2013. I know its history and I will be happy to tell you about it during the inspection.
The Mercedes drives flawlessly, the engine, gearbox, suspension, steering and brakes are flawless. I invite you for a test drive.
The interior is in original condition, clean, fragrant, without repairs and requiring no repairs.
The photos reflect its actual condition. Judging by the wear of the interior (original), I estimate the mileage to be original - the odometer has recently jumped and reset to zero, so it may have about 100,000. km, possibly 200 thousand km. Doesn't look like more.
