1952' Mercedes-Benz 300

1952 mercedes benz 300 Adenauer saloon , extremely rare rhd example which was a factory special order . supplied new in portugal on the 28th of november 1952, it remarkably remained in the same family ownership for the next 34 years covering just 21750 miles (35000 kilometers) the car was repainted at this stage in its original colour of black db040 before being shipped to england where it was sold by christie’s in december 1986.. 2 years later in march 1988 having now covered 25109 miles (40410 kilometers) the car was again sold by christie’s to its last owner. 35 years ago. the car has now covered just 27000 miles (45000 kilometers)
she is in lovely condition , has not been restored apart from a repaint in 1986, is remarkable underneath, it still has its factory protective plastic on the door cards !! she has a recent stainless steel exhaust.
there is the portuguese hand book, original christie’s catalogues, letters from the last owner to the original owner and other documentation to quantify this rare and interesting motor car.
