1952' Mercedes-Benz 300 Adenauer

A rare opportunity to purchase an excellent example of this iconic motor car with a genuine mileage of 26,298.

If you are looking at this, you probably know all about the Mercedes 300 "Adenauer" so I will just describe this particular car.
Purchased new in 1952 in Portugal, it was orderedby the first owner in Right Hand Drive, although with a KPH speedometer.

It was kept by the original purchaser in 1952 until it arrived in the UK and Auctioned in 1986, used by it's UK purchaser for two years, it was then listed in an Auction catalogue in 1988, but purchased prior to the Auction by it's current registered owner. It was used for 4 years, and then put into storage in 1992, where stayed until now!
The car is in remarkably original condition, with no rot or corrosion in the body or chassis.
The body work is very good with just a few age related blemishes,the doors fitting and shutting perfectly.
The chrome work is all present, and in good order, again with some minor age related blemishes.
The interior is in good original order
The car runs and drives well, having been "run up" regularly.

The car comes with a large file of paper work, including V5c document,old MOT certificates, copies of import documents,the 1986 and '88 Auction Catalogues,and also the original Portuguese registration plate.
