Only 65 copies of the Cabriolet D were produced based on the Mercedes 300. Only 8 of them are right-hand drive!
This vehicle was delivered in 1961 to the Prime Minister Dr. Okpara extradited from East Nigeria. The vehicle came to Switzerland in 1987 and was restored “frame off” in Germany (photo documentation available). The Mercedes is very well documented, has matching numbers and colors as delivered and has only covered 19,460 miles! With automatic transmission.
