Mercedes-Benz 300 was produced in 1951-1962. 12,190 copies of the 300 model in various versions were built. The 300d was presented in August 1957 as the successor to the 300c. The biggest difference between the previous model is the longer wheelbase and fuel injection as standard. The power unit comes directly from the 300sl model, but the power has been reduced to 180 HP.
