Here at Old Colonel Cars, the Classic and Performance Car Agency, we have a superb example of the Mercedes C107 450 SLC. A low mileage SLC, with only 73, 000 Miles, first registered on 16th August, 1979.
Finished in Astral Silver metallic paint with contrasting Anthracite velour trim and walnut wood veneer centre console.
Featuring 14 Inch original alloys with period correct tread pattern.
This Mercedes comes with a fully documented history file. We have the original stamped service book, original manuals, folder full of old MOT’s and service receipts confirming the low mileage.
This car presents in excellent condition, it had a full restoration to bodywork, including sills and bulkhead areas completed in 2017. Full set of pictures documenting the bodywork restoration and bare metal re paint included with history.
Originally a UK car, was registered in Ireland between 2009 and 2020, where the restoration was performed in 2017.
Now back in UK and registered back to UK registration. But if any of our Irish buyers are interested, should be no import duties ….
It featured on the front cover of Mercedes Enthusiasts magazine in July 2022 along with 3 page road test and pictures. It received a rave review from road test etc. Copies in the history.
Its classified as a Historic Vehicle, so tax is free and no need to MOT according to the law, but I would always MOT anyway every year, as a safety check. Car had just has a new MOT, no advisories, MOT’d until June 2024.

A super smooth 4. 5 V8, automatic gearbox, on this example lovely tight steering, suspension / brakes etc all feeling very good.
