Please view the video about the vehicle included in this advertisement! The engine was removed in January 2026 and completely rebuilt! Furthermore, all oils and fluids were changed and a thorough, comprehensive service carried out. The 190SL is in really very good condition both visually and mechanically!Key facts about this MERCEDES-BENZ 190SL W121 BIIAccording to the available documents, this 190SL was produced in 1962 for the American market and returned to Germany in April 1991 to Lake Starnberg near Munich. It remained there until 2020 and was part of the life story of the previous owner’s family, who consistently and comprehensively maintained it professionally, regardless of cost. This 190SL Roadster comes from the last year of production in 1962.The current owner, a businessman near Sindelfingen, where this 190SL was produced in the Mercedes-Benz factory halls in 1962, fulfilled a long-cherished life dream and bought the SL a few years ago. It likewise spends the year, when not driven, in the workshop of his classic car specialist, where it is expertly serviced and cared for. The roof is tight, the gearbox shifts really perfectly, the engine runs smoothly and evenly, and the brakes bite as if the drums had been swapped for discs. But more important than anything: the Mercedes is driven regularly, because standing damage is ultimately more expensive to rectify than regularly driving and comprehensively maintaining a classic.Paintwork, interior and all other technical facilities are in very good condition. There is a lot to tell, so come and view the 190 in person, preferably on a ramp, and also in the company of a specialist if you wish.Manufacturer / Manufacturer Mercedes-BenzModel / Model SLType / Type 190 SL ROADSTERSeries / Series W121 BIIBody style / Body style Cabriolet / ConvertibleMileage / Kilage 72, 000 Km / 44, 800 milesYear / Year 1962Registration / Registration 07/ 1962Previous owner / Previous owner 3Power / Power 77 kW / 105 PS/ HPDisplacement / Cubic capacity 1, 897 ccm / CCsCylinders / Cylinders 4Fuel / Fuel type Petrol / PetrolTransmission / Transmission Manual 4-Gang / Manual 4-speedDrive / Drive RearSteering / Steering Left / Left (LHD)Doors / Doors 2Seats / Seats 2Exterior colour / Exterior colour Code 534 - redColor of hubcaps / Color of hubcaps Code 534 - RedSoft Top colour / Soft Top colour BlackUpholstery / Upholstery Code 953 – Leather black / Leather blackSteering wheel / Steering wheel Ivory / IvoryShift knob / Shift lever Ivory / IvoryMatching numbers / Matching numbers YesVehicle condition / Condition Really goodReport / Report AvailableAdditional equipment• Radio Becker Europa TR +NAVIGATION, Bluetooth, USB, Hands Free• Whitewall tyres / White wall tires• Leather upholstery / Leather upholstery• Manual aerial / Aerial manual• Exterior mirror right side / Exterior mirror right side• Wind deflector / wind deflectorThe history of the Mercedes-Benz MERCEDES-BENZ 190SL W121On 6 February 1954 Mercedes-Benz unveiled the first 190SL prototype at the International Motor Shows in New York.
