During this time, he drove the car approximately 14, 000 kilometres in good weather. Prior to this, the Mercedes-Benz underwent a complete restoration down to the finest detail in southern Germany. The restoration was completed in 2007. This Pagoda was originally delivered to the United States. There is no documentation available for the vehicle's early years.The Mercedes-Benz 280 SL, part of the W113 model series, is a two-seater roadster-coupé which was produced from 1963 to 1971. The W113 models, also known as the "Pagoda" due to their characteristic inward-curved hardtop, are highly prized classics today.
