In March 1963, Mercedes-Benz presented the SL series W113 as the 230 SL at the Geneva Motor Show. This was introduced as the successor to the 190 SL and was designed by the famous designer Paul Bracq. The 230 SL with 150 hp from 2.3 L displacement was built between 1963-1967. It was nicknamed the “Pagoda” because of its additional, inwardly curved hardtop.
The example presented here was built in 1967 and delivered to the USA. The import to Austria and the individual approval in Eisenstadt took place in 1992. Further changes of ownership took place in Austria in 2005 and 2009 and now this SL is to be sold as part of a classic car collection for reasons of age. The body was professionally overhauled in Austria by the previous owner and has been in very good condition ever since. The same applies to the black MB-Tex interior including retrofitted 3-point automatic belts, which is still in very good, original condition! Thanks to the always very good repairs and optimal care, this SL with manual transmission still runs perfectly. There is extensive documentation for the vehicle regarding maintenance and servicing.

I would like to warmly invite you to view the vehicles on site. The vehicles are located in A-2460 Bruck an der Leitha and is halfway between Vienna and Bratislava, each about 25 km away. By car, our location is directly via the A4 motorway, exit Bruck/L. West can be reached very quickly. Arriving by plane is very easy via the international airport Vienna-Schwechat (Vienna Airport), only 20 km away, or via Bratislava Airport, 35 km away. We would also be happy to pick you up personally from one of the two airports.
