Seller's comments about 1970' Mercedes-Benz W113 Pagoda
Popularly known as the Pagoda, the Mercedes W113, designed from the beginning as a Cabriolet, is a comfortable, two-seater touring car that replaced the 190 SL (W121) and 300 SL Roadster (W198) in the range. The Pagoda chassis, taken from the Mercedes-Benz 220 SE limousine, has been adapted to the needs of sports cars. Its suspension was stiff, yet incredibly comfortable for cars of the time. The exterior was characterized by clean, straight lines and a front with a large central Mercedes star on a chrome grill. The optional hardtop with a concave roof supported by narrow pillars resembled Asian temple structures, earning the SL the nickname "Pagoda" quickly. The Mercedes-Benz 280 SL with manual transmission was completely mechanically, bodywork and painted renovated by our team of experts. The car was additionally equipped with Bilstein suspension, wingshot and armrest. The bright Pergament interior matches perfectly with the Midnight Blue paint. Registered car, sold on a VAT invoice with a margin. Duda Cars S.A. - Authorized Mercedes-Benz Showroom and Service street Gottlieb Daimlera 21, 62-001 Golęczewo Legends Duda - Cars section
