Mercedes W115 (200E), year 1971, car in good working order, no current MOT, valid third party liability insurance until 11-2025. Overall, the car has been in the family since the 1980s and is being rebuilt. Currently, the following components have been renovated: - front and rear suspension (complete disassembly, sandblasting, painting Novol Classic, replacement of springs, shock absorbers and rubber elements - manufacturer Meyle and Lemforder), - steering system (replacement of pins, knobs, shock absorber), - braking system (disassembly, sandblasting, replacement of seals, brake pistons, discs, pads, covers, painting, partial replacement brake pipes, replacement of the brake pump), - drive system (inspection of the rear axle, replacement of seals, regeneration of drive shafts), - fuel system (sandblasting, cleaning and painting the tank, replacement of damaged fuel lines, replacement of the fuel pump), - cooling system (rebuilt radiator, replacement of necessary rubber elements) Necessary works include adjustment of the Stromberg carburetor, replacement of the exhaust system (I am adding a new set), replacement of the trunk floor (I'm adding a new floor), partial replacement of the side members, general bodywork and paint corrections, and regeneration of the internal upholstery and seats. Additionally, I'm adding many parts from the disassembly of the twin Mercedes for use during further reconstruction.
