Seller's comments about 1980' Mercedes-Benz W123

Good morning. I am putting my first vintage Mercedes up for sale. I have been using it for several years as a car for the warm months of the year. It is incredibly convenient and comfortable even on low-quality roads. A beautiful combination of pistachio varnish and green interior. At the end of 2021, I decided to carry out a comprehensive renovation of the car. I have other "old" Mercedes cars and I decided that my first one deserved it. The car was dismantled and all bodywork defects typical of this model were repaired/replaced in the good old style (in one of the photos it is under renovation). The wooden elements were professionally restored for over PLN 3,000. I bought new seals for approximately PLN 10,000. Bodywork and painting works total almost PLN 40,000. The engine and gearbox were sealed and worn-out elements of the fuel supply system were replaced. The vacuum system controlling the gearbox operation has been restored to "new" condition and adjusted by a gentleman who has worked all his professional life at a Mercedes service center near Berlin. The engine purrs and the gearbox changes gears better than modern double-clutch gearboxes (although it may be just my imagination, I will stick to this version :-) Professionally renovated rims complement the historic look of the car. The price for which I am offering my coupe does not reflect the amount of work put into it. its renovation and does not cover its entire cost. I just hope that the car will go to someone who will be able to appreciate the work, time and money spent on it. Low vehicle mileage. The steering wheel, dashboard, and automatic transmission gear knob are in "new" condition, reflecting the mileage. In the glove compartment there is a business card of the owner from Germany, who was its sole owner before import to Poland. The car looks and drives better in real life than the description and photos indicate. Please contact me.
