Seller's comments about 1971' Mercury Marquis
Mercury Marquis Brougham 1971 for sale with a 7-liter V8 and rear drive, from before the fuel crisis :-) The car is in very nice condition - chassis, frame healthy and without rust or holes, air conditioning (automatic) works, heating and electrics too windows and seats work, compression on each cylinder 8.5-9 bar, no smoke, no smoke, no oil consumption. I have driven it over 4,000 km all over Poland since February (as can be seen in the attached photos from the rallies), and I drove it to the Czech Republic at Lucky Cruisers Weekend (400 km one way). The car has a very nice history - 1 owner in Canada from beginning to end (Polish), the car was used and serviced there all the time (a lot of new parts, new radiator, rubber hoses, ignition cables, spark plugs, air conditioning compressor, starter, etc.), a whole folder of documents, invoices, bills, photos. In Canada it was painted and had a trimmed roof, the original interior was in very good condition (confirming the authenticity of the mileage), the board was intact and not cracked. I add a whole box of junk and parts to the car, worth PLN 3-4,000 and practically impossible to get. The car was described in the industry press https://autoblog.spidersweb.pl/mercury-marquis-1971-jak-to-jezdziThe price reflects the condition of the vehicle and is open for symbolic negotiation. The car is entered into the register of monuments, fresh third party liability insurance until September 2025. I have several dozen photos, including photos of the chassis, engine compartment, etc., etc., which I can send to anyone interested. Mercury is also a great car for weddings. and it's popular ;-) Of course, the VIN is 11-digit, as in a car from these years, I entered X in the empty spaces, because otherwise you can't add an ad.
