MG 18/ 80 Mk1 - 1929 - Lightweight Saloon.

Owned by the late Doug Harris for 50 years and restored by him to superb original condition.

High-res photos and detailed videos are set out below.   I also have two interviews with John Day that can be sent to any prospective buyer.

John and Doug were best pals, and after over 40 odd years of friendship, they ran a pair of 18/ 80's all over Europe.   Both engineers, their combined knowledge was invaluable and set's this car apart from so many other Vintage motors on the market.   They honed and developed their steeds so that they were useable and reliable.

The car is one of only two examples of the powerful 2. 5 litre, six-cylinder Vintage MG fitted with a lightweight, four-door; saloon body.

A leatherette-sided car, built to be lightweight.   The first MG that was designed from the ground up by Kimber, rather than converted from a Morris.  Only one car is older than this one, and this is just one of two left in the UK.

It is a very well-known car in the Vintage Register and has been used extensively for National and International MG Events.

It is a capable, reliable, comfortable long-distance touring car.

The attached article, written by the late owner and very helpful.

Export is not an issue and we are able to offer a network of people across the globe to help with your shipping and paperwork.

Don't miss this one, it's a great opportunity to get into a Vintage car that will give you more pleasure than headaches.

A spares package will be made available to the buyer at an additional cost.  A spreadsheet of these spares can also be sent to any prospective buyer.
