Offered for sale we have this charming example of the ever poplar MGB. This original chrome bumper roadster dating from 1973 is wearing its 50 years very well indeed. Bought as a restored example by the current keeper from MG specialists Former Glory in 2012 she has been very well loved travelling across Europe a number of times and visiting Ireland at least once a year. The cars early history is largely unknown but we have a file full of invoices covering the last 20 years including every penny spent in the last 11 years. Regular servicing work and maintenance is present along with more recent larger bills for a carburettor refresh and tune (2021) and brake refurbishment (2023). The result of all this expenditure is a car that is ready to be driven and enjoyed right away. Externally the cars Tartan Red paint polishes up to a high shine as does all the brightwork. The interior is a highlight having enjoyed a recent retrim in Biscuit with red pipping still in excellent condition. MGBs are known for their excellent on road manners and this one is no different. She goes up and down the gears with ease and the all-important overdrive kicks in 3rd and 4th without fuss. The engine roars into life with little effort and drops into idle quickly with a happy burble. All this little MG really requires is a new keeper!
