1968' MG Cgt

A gleaming white MGC, well-maintained with low-mileage and ready to use. Now available owing to the demise of the owner, an MG enthusiast.
There were only about 9000 MGC’s produced from 1967 to 1969; about half were GT’s. The smooth 6-cylinder 2. 9 litre engine gives an impressive performance for the late 1960’s with a 0-60 time of 10 seconds and a top speed of 120mph. Our new King had one in his youth.
This car, Ch. GCD1/ 2371/ G, Eng. 2343, was originally in the London area but has been in Fife since 1996 when it was refurbished at a cost of £2700 by Chic Doig, the MG Specialist garage. It is one of the rare automatics which was an option in 1968. The car was resprayed some 10 years ago to refresh its appearance.
It has MoT records back to 1981 when it had covered 34k miles and a large pile of receipts for work and services over the years since. It has now covered 64, 200 miles. We are selling it on commission following lack of use for several years and have checked it over, serviced it as necessary, fitted a new battery etc so that it is ready to drive away and use over the summer.
