1956' MG MGA

This beautiful 1956 MGA was carefully selected by my father, a retired vintage car purveyor, to use for his own enjoyment during his autumnal years. Sadly, ill health has inhibited his enjoyment of this wonderful automobile, so she must find a new and maybe younger custodian.
It’s an early, matching numbers, original right hand drive UK example with British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate. A full nut and bolt restoration was carried out over a 10-year period (between 1980 – 1990) with photographs provided on file. The restorer sold it upon completion and the subsequent owner stored it away again, waiting for the price to mature, before selling it to my father via Beaulieu Garage in 2018. Therefore, the car has seen minimal use since its completion and is offered today in the same restored condition, with a little-used hood, side screens, tonneau cover and a chromed luggage rack.
Mechanically she is perfect and serious travel may be confidently undertaken courtesy of that reliable 1500 cc engine and easy 4 speed manual gearbox. The chromed wire wheels add to the already sporty appeal.
The car is very presentable (please see the photographs), but the paintwork requires some work to make perfect. Sensible offers will be considered.
