This is an excellent value, strong driving, reliable, and usable MGA Coupe. 641 ARO is a UK supplied Home Market car that was built on the 7th-14th June 1957 leaving the factory in Orient Red with Black upholstery. The MGA Coupe was believed to be restored in during the 1990’s and was fitted with the improved larger 1622cc engine that offers increased performance. Over the past 30 years the MGA has covered 7000 miles with a huge file of MOT certificates dating back to 1991 showing steady use. Invoices are on file over the past 20 years for general maintenance and upkeep. In 2023 the MGA was thoroughly serviced and MOT tested, and invoices confirm various upkeep and improvements that include Quickfit safety belts, new front and rear screen rubber trims, new rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes, brake hoses and pipes, new rocker cover gasket, starter motor and heater valve. Dating further back in the 1990's, invoices are on file for a brand new wiring loom, dashboard harness, door seals, and front and rear wing splash panels all from Brown and Gammons. Having been regularly serviced the MGA drives very well. The 1622cc engine is strong holding very good oil pressure, the four speed gearbox is slick with excellent syncro's and the A holds the road very well. It feels nicely used and reliable, and it presents well as an honest older restoration with a good older paint finish and nice straight body panels showing no signs of any serious corrosion. All steel wings are in place and are excellent, brightwork is of a good standard, the engine bay and upholstery show a fine patina and overall the car offers excellent value as a strong, usable MGA that doesn't require any major work in order to be used and enjoyed.
