Soft top, tonneau cover – upholstery & paintwork in great condition. The car has been adapted with a 4 speed gearbox & Ford 1600 crossflow Kent engine - as a result on the road it is a complete joy to drive! Hugely responsive, superb handling and a fantastic cruiser with a wonderful exhaust note when the roof is down. It also makes it superbly reliable – has been driven across the south of England multiple times now, covering 100 miles each time and never missed a beat.

A South African import that spent it’s life around Johannesburg, so no rust can be found. The dry climate has treated it well and all rubbers etc have been replaced in good time.

I understand the engine & gearbox replacement is not for the purist. But should the purist wish to take ownership of a rust free, excellent body MGA for under £20k, the original engine is also available for sale, with carbs & clutch (pics attached) at a discount to the buyer of the car (or will be sold off at market rate separately if not wanted).
