I bought the car in August 1986 at Mönchengladbach, Germany more or less knocked down from a guy who had imported it from England
Frame off restoration by myself during the period 1987 to 2000
During the engine overhaul I did the following alterations, in order to get the engine more durable: From a well known German Piston Manufacturer I’ve got custom made Bi-metal Pistons for reduced piston clearance against oil consumption and piston noise. The compression ratio is reduced down to 8.3: 1 as later factory engines.

Since Year 2000 my Twin Cam is in use without problems.
