1964' MG MGB

We are delighted to offer this magnificent, exceptionally well restored MGB Roadster onto the market. This is a Home Market RHD example finished in its original colour of Iris Blue with Blue leather upholstery. The MG was built on the 13th-14th May 1964 and despatched on the 20th May 1964 and after many years off the road, was subject of a three year rebuild in 2014 costing towards £30, 000.
Since restoration the MGB has had very little use, less than 2000 miles. The body was totally stripped down and completely rebuilt with various new panels. The shell was then painted inside, outside and underneath in the cars correct colour of Iris Blue. The car was built up with a new interior, hard top, and new/ re-conditioned brightwork.
Moto-Build Ltd stripped and rebuilt the 3 syncro gearbox, re-bushed the clutch fork and then painted the gearbox, they also stripped down and fully rebuilt the engine, then detailed and re-fitted it to the car. The MGB was completely rebuilt mechanically with thousands of pounds worth of invoices on file. The car was completed to a very high standard, and fitted with a brand new set of painted wire wheels and Pirelli Cinturato tyres.
Several years on since completion the MGB looks outstanding with a lovely bodyshell, exceptional Iris Blue painted underside and stunning paintwork. The chrome work is excellent, as is the engine bay and boot area presentation. The MGB also has a restored works hard top fitted, and mohiar Dark Blue tonneau cover and brand new mohair hood. The upholstery is stunning, and the car performs and drives as good as it looks. On the road the MG is superb with a fabulous engine holding excellent oil pressure, a lovely gearbox, smooth overdrive and handling and braking are excellent. This is a wonderful car, it will not disappoint and whether looking for a MG to show, or tour with, it will prove a fantastic to own and enjoy.
