Seller's comments about 1966' MG MGB

Here at RFH Classics we have this 1966 (D) MGB Roadster finished in Mineral Blue, a colour quite rarely seen nowadays. The car comes with the Black Leather seats that have the Pale Blue, piping and unusually for its age this is a 4 former owner example that was owned by the previous lady owner for 10 years. The car was previously the subject of an extensive restoration completed 16 years ago so when we purchased the car it was with the intention of using it for as a show car highlighting the vehicles we offer here at RFH Classics. With this in mind we under took a sympathetic refurbishment of the car including having the bodywork fully refurbished in its original Mineral Blue resulting in a truly wonderful car. As the car was being done for ourselves we have spared no expense when it has come to the refit of the body work with many new chrome trims being replaced on the car as well as the original painted wire wheels being upgraded to chrome wires which really helps complete the look and make this a stunning example. The interior of particular car was very nice already and features the original style Black Leather seats that are complimented by the Blue piping. These seats are in excellent condition as is the trim kit and carpets that match the Black of the seats. We are retrimming the boot area so it will feature a full black carpet set, the perfect way to complete the first impression as you open the boot lid. The condition of the interior as impressive as the rest of the car making it a great place to be especially with the roof down. When it comes to the roof this car is fitted with a vinyl packaway style roof to protect you from the elements and it is in near perfect condition.Under the bonnet of this MGB sits a 1798cc 4 cylinder engine that is running lead free, this engine is paired to a manual four speed gearbox that has Overdrive for the 3rd and 4th gears. When both cold and hot the engine runs exceptionally well and has great oil pressure. As part of the work undertaken we have had the original 3 syncro gearbox stripped and rebuilt with a full set of new gears, shafts and bushes providing you piece of mind for the future. This car is around a week away from being completed but when it is you are going to be presented with a stunning car that has real presence on the road with and with the addition of the chrome wire wheels this is going to be a car you will be proud to own. Register your interest today and why not come along and see the car being completed so you can see how nice it is.RFH Classics are proud to be Bedfordshire's largest independent classic car dealer with over 35 years of experience supplying quality vehicles you can buy with confidence.
